School of Foreign Languages—Dec. 8, 2015

On December 4, 2015, Prof. Wang Haixiao visited the School of Foreign Languages at Beihang University to give a talk on the reading of the New Edition of A Guide to College English Teaching. Prof. Wang centered his lecture on the key concepts and general principles of the Guide, interpreted the changing roles to be played by teachers and students and suggested new approaches to be adopted in classroom teaching.

Prof. Wang is Head of the Division for College English Teaching at Nanjing University. His research interests include second language acquisition & teaching, language testing, and computer-assisted language teaching.
